On Friday 8th December 2006, Longman of Longman's Sandwiches, Wood Lane, Rothwell, near Leeds announced that he would no longer be running his highly acclaimed, internationally reknowned butty shop.

From what we can gather he's sold it to a corporate sandwich chain, which as we know tend not to offer the full range of brown and wheaty breads as Longman's Sandwiches.

As a tribute to these factors, and a gesture of thanks for all the spam and egg specials, Bob Barley has resurrected this old classic. Dedicated to the memory of Longman's Sandwiches.

P.S. You putting quotes around "nood" doesn't really have the same effect as identifying "man" in your username as a term to be used loosely, does it? Making a half-arsed attempt to parody the previous poster only serves to highlight your desperation in attempting to anonymously annoy people on the internet.
