In all honesty I agree with the chap, and I had the same thoughts, until it was pointed out that it was indeed ironic, and since then I have no problems with him, knowing that he is fully aware of how unfunny he is, so when he does do / say something funny it is better.

Thats right. However, i do wonder what his job actually is. He just stands there in the studio talking every now and again. There is obviously no such thing as director of comedy so god knows. Possibly has the best job in the world, hang around at your mates work for 3 hours then go on the pi*s. Lucky bast*rd. He is funny though, especially when he is a bad mood i think.

I think Dave writes allot of the links for features, and for celeb indents etc, as well as the Yankie bloke, and he did do the Davina McCall Parody, so I dare say he reads threads like this, and thinks if only you knew you silly people, I have to work with a guy whose ego has grown in the last ten years out of all proportion, yes in the early days we used to go on the Lash all day, but nowadays, he expects allot from me, and most of it he takes the credit for, and if I sound grumpy it's beauce of this and the fact I married a bird who turned into a Axe Weilding, Plate throwing highly agreesive PMT frigid bitch.

That's not what its about man, in fact i am tired of reading 'if you dont like it turn over'. The fact is people do love the show otherwise they wouldnt be members of the fan site, listen every morning and take time out of their day to post on here hundreds of times, communicating with other fans.

The point is everything has a balance (equal and opposite etc). People love the show but there are things here and there about it and the team that wind people up and pi*s them off. Good!

If every post on here was about how great everybody in the team was and how marvellous it all is it would be a boring site with about 10 members all agreeing, and what would be the point of posting anything on here? The fact is, the reason this site works so well and has loyal members who have been on here for years is that it is interesting hearing other peoples point of view on something that we all listened to this morning. We can then all put our opinion in and have a good discussion, with a bit of pis*ing about thrown in for good measure.

So I would like to say to everyone to keep pis*ing and moaning about the show on here and rant about things please. It keeps it interesting for everyone.

Praise the good and slag off the bad. That is what this site is all about.

Nothing wrong with Comedy dave to get rid of a team meber would ruin the show. Plus his contributions to the show are more than just side kick him and chris work on alot of the projects for the show together. And the show is allways of a good quality even when bad guest's go on.
