I'm not sure about the players' legs. I think football is only interesting if I have any particular interest in a team. If it's two random teams, unless it's a particularly entertaining match for a particular reason, it's boring. I watched all the England matches in the World Cup this year, most of them at school on the huge screen in the lecture theatre with a big bunch of guys. My friend came with me to watch them because she thinks Joe Cole is hot (ok so he is) but she didn't actually understand football. I used to go to football matches with my dad and watch Crystal Palace play but haven't been in a few years.
Then England got knocked out of the World Cup on the day of our school prom, and all the boys cried, but then we all got drunk and forgot all about it.
The best match I ever saw has to be watching Real Madrid beat Las Palmas 7-0 in Madrid when I was 13, that was awesome. The stadium is massive and the atmosphere was great.
I am more in favour of banning gossip/celebrity magazines than football personally.
