If you ever get the chance to see him doing something other than Top Gear or any car related programmes, he is obviously incredibly well read, well informed, well educated and intelligent. I love how opinionated he is as well, but he is much more than just a controversial lanky petrol head.

I saw him at the motor show one year before they reinvented Top Gear and Tiff Needell / Quentin Willson were still on it; they were very funny, but not as good as they are now, the chemistry is fantastic.

Thats been the message of the board all weekend it seems...
feels like were a load of versions of that Nigel Livid on Blunder who goes to channel 4, rants at the bosses, then mid-rant just says "i should just stop watching shouldn't I?"
