I do have sky+ but it has many faults
Were I Live You Cannot Get Cable
We wont get freewiew until 2011
And the broadband connection is 0.5 meg
not fast enough for internet tv thats any good
Its the same in many small towns

Freeview is sufficient for me.

Some of my friends live on the south coast and can't get digital TV or digital radio or channel 5. I, however, live in London, so I don't need to worry about these things.

I am a little concerned about the impending switch-off of terrestrial TV, but I guess I will have to buy another Freeview box.

Meh, yeh, I cant get channel 5 if we're no using digital. And the signal is absolutley shiiite when the weather is bad.

All I know is this..The days of terrestrial were better quality, then there was all this privatisation, Murdoch had his cake and ate it, bought everything and in turn made the plebs follow suit, and made them watch mountains of adverts, I can remember being about 10, and my mate at the time used to tape all his fave programmes on Sky because they had a bob or 2 and could afford it, and used to fast forward all the adverts. I'm happy with Freeview but I'd get rid of half of it, thank f*** I aint paying for any of it though.

well i don't think that turning off the normal channels is a good idea cos then everytime you buy a tv you have to make sure you have digital which can be really expensive, but i do like the extra channels on digital!
