i'm going to take your seat and break it!

i know in america, sometimes people adopt crazy teams because there was a good player once and there isn't really a local team. i know somebody who was into the kansas city royals for that reason.

He obviously couldn't be arsed searching properly. Just watching the 2nd half of the Newcastle game, Colin Murray is actually a pretty decent presenter but can't Five ever get anyone other than Pat Nevin?

Murray is awful.

Don't repeat yourself then.

Chappers should be the permanent presenter of Football Night, watching John Barnes blatently reading off of an autocue is cringeworthy.

Damn right I couldn't be arsed searching properly, there's hundreds of threads, and hundreds of pages to read, forgive my lazy attitude, slapped wrists.

And in terms of repeating yourselves, I wasn't going for that approach, I just wanted you both to admit that you are Man Utd supporters because you are massive glory hunters.

You also didn't answer my question as to why you think Newcastle should be compensated by the FA for the loss of Owen??? And before you say it Flower, I'm not being confrontational I am just currious as to what reasons maflo has for his wild theories.

Why should I become a lawyer?

You should become a Chelsea fan, I hear they're the best team around at the moment.

I should have out a bet on the big match today, thought it was going to be a draw. Also, what on earth is with David James' new Hitler style hair cut?

Threw it away though, should have won it. Still, good result for Colchester, I'm a happy bunny.

Threw it away? United were better first half and Chelsea second. It was a fair result and generally a better game than sometimes happens with the top sides.

Malfo, malfo, malfo......... you seem to be ignoring me. Tell me, you suggested the other day that Newcastle should get some for of compensation from the FA for Owen's injury, I asked you then and I shall ask very kindly again............ ahem.................. why?

Good to see that West Ham will possibly make a move for Shaun Wright Phillips, he is badly in need of a new club.

I love the fact that his reason for moving to Chelsea was "to further his England career". How ironic.

I wouldn't argue with that at all - I just thought that United should have been able to maintain their form and do better in the second half. I agree, they didn't, and in the end it was the right result - and a better one for Chelsea than United, Mourenho was dead right about that.

The reason Wright-Phillips moved to Chelsea is the same reason most players move to Chelsea, because a) Chelsea offer deals too goog to turn down for both the player and the club they're moving from. Man City would have been silly to refuse the £21 odd million that they offered. b) he's pretty much garunteed a premiership medal at the end of the season.

Oh, and I still think that Newcastle seeking compensation from the FA is a dangerous game.

Man U need another striker and they will probably sort that out in January, along with the tedious pursuit of Hargreaves.

Diego Forlan. Get him back, he was excellent.

Well there have been a lot of names thrown about including Darren Bent and Jermain Defoe but Man U have been tracking Fernando Torres for ages and he signed a new contract recently which reduced his buy-out clause, so he might be the one.
