Anyone else find Carrie so cringeworthy over this new boyf business. She's over the top giddy, pretends she doesnt like talking about it, when she loves it............I really dont care if some sports presenter who doesnt reallyt know about sport is dating someone....

Why does it so often come down to how someone looks, esp. if they are on RADIO.

I personally think that we have a heard alot less Carrie at the moment than we normally do. I think Moyles has realised that Dom is 50 times more entertaining and therefore based more stuff around him.

This has nothing to do with anything other than stumbling over words but that new guy on Blue Peter can't even say a sentence without messing it up.

Carrie simply doesn't fit in on the show, she doesn't seem to share the same kind of humour that the rest do. Plus she's a very poor newsreader.

And yes she has become even more irritating because she's got a boyfriend, she's acting like she's never had one before.

"Battle! He's from Battle. Hehehe!" Sounded so pathetic.

EXACTLY!

Carrie is more irritating than funny or anything... I find Rachel funnier whether she intends to be or not.

Both are nowhere close to being amusing.

Female team members don't work. Lizzie was a tomboy so the exception.

She was hardly gods gift to comedy was she.

Better than Carrie though I agree.

I've said it before, Carrie and Rachael should keep shtum. Carrie is too "oh I'm so posh, awesome this and awesome that, and Chelsea are so awesome." And Rachael, although I'm sure she is exceptional at her job, just does my nut in how many times does she cringeworthingly say "this show is so random this moring...hahahahah".

If the team were all men with the same type of humour it would be boring, you gotta have different types of people with different views, hobbies, outlooks etc or else who would you take the p**s out of?
I dont mind anybody on the team and if I did dislike somebody then I would turn off, easy. Why would you listen to something or somebody you dont like?

No - the show was at its best when it had an all male line up. Pub humour at it's best. They didn't have to worry about upsetting any women.

Exactly. That's why I listen less.

You can be:

1. A cult show that appeals to a certain section of the audience, and takes risks/is creative/pushes boundaries. (i.e. Old Moyles)

2. A mainstream show that has to appeal to everyone in the audience, and be more reserved//formulaic. (i.e. Current Moyles)

I prefer the former - sorry. Dom is still the man though.

I changed my radio alarm time because Celebrity Tarzan just made me turn over and go back to sleep. I haven't heard Celebrity Tarzan lately, but maybe because I've slept through it. It was funny for a little while because it's so crap but it got extremely annoying.

I like Rachel. I don't like Carrie because she can't read out loud, which is, after all, her job. I love Clelebrity Tarzan. I don't remember the show ever being all male, but I take the point that it would probably work even better that way. But I still like Rachel.

I just find Carrie boring. On the occasions she tries to be funny it is cringeworthy. And when they try to involve her in some humourous feature she is terrible like when Longman was on the phone flirting with her she didnt have the wit to keep it going, so much so that Longman said "this is going nowhere" and Moyles promptly ended it.

She is a waste of time who contributes nothing to the show. Dom being so brilliant only highlights that fact.
