Nintendo stuff is generally more innovative and uses it's hardware better. A reputation for producing baby-ish games seems to stop it developing true mass appeal over here (if only they had a Mario game where he robbed cars and killed pedestrians). In Japan, though, the DS outsells the PSP.

I have a PSP but apart from GTA games I seldom use it.

It is a shame that gamers over here are so small minded and regard any game that doesn't have guns and blood as immature, Nintendo have made many games that are arguably the best of all time. My Wii is all pre-ordered and paid for (along with Zelda), I can't wait. I'll probably buy a 360 soon as well.

I'm waiting for THE definitive game to come out on the 360 before I get one. Gears of War I thought was going to be the one, especially by the ad on TV, until I realised that you shoot monsters in it. Monsters don't exist. I lost interest. It's probably going to end up being GTA IV, isn't it?

Why do they always make shoot-em up games where you can shoot a monster 7 times without weakening it and then on the 8th shot, you kill it? It spoils any realism or suspension of disbelief.

Halo 3 will surely be the one (even though I still can't see what is so special about the first two). Call of Duty 3 looks good enough if you don't like shooting monsters, COD2 was fantastic but this one is made by a different developer, it's apparently still very good though.

Halo 3 is still shooting monsters which I have a *major* problem with. I've just remembered that I saw a trailer for the new Rainbow Six in Tesco and it looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

GTA IV is out on October. That's less than a year. I can live with that.

the only reason i considered getting a psp was for katamari damacy. i couldn't handle the price or all the other crap with it though. luckily... my boyfriend's brother bought one for the homebrew capabilities, but he doesn't play it much so he just sort of left it here. i've yet to play it.

i had the ds and just got the ds lite (for my impeding trip to the uk). the games are cheaper than the psp and more engaging. yeah, nintendo tries to go for the kiddies, but they have puzzle games down to a science. wario ware touched was amazing. monkeyball is classic. the new supermario was crazy. i dunno, right now i'm sucked into one of the dumbest games ever- harvest moon- maybe i'll get a new game this afternoon.

point is. the psp was supposed to be better, but it totally missed the mark. yeah it can do so much, but they took their sweet time telling you that. that's why sales have always been sluggish. sony needs to give it a rest.

I hate the fact that in itunes, you can't put songs straight onto an ipod from a CD, they have to go into the library first. Also, the fact that it can take as long as 2 minutes to import one song is just disgusting.

The fact that my Laptop can run F.E.A.R. at almost maximum settings suggests it's not shit, it just seems to be with the latest version of itunes, the last one was fine.
