I shall answer two at once here. Booboff, you are incorrect my equally esteemed fellow, I know quite alot about football, in fact I shall go so far as to way I know absolutely tons about football, it is my major passion, as are the seagulls. Which is why I feel I am justified in discussing it on here. Rest asured, I know what I am talking about. I don't know what the phrase Troll'd means though, sorry.

And Flower, if you read it perhaps a 5th time you might see what I'm on about. See what I'm getting at is the fact tha not only are you an East Anglian Man Utd fan, but also you seem to flicker between them and the tractor boys (in terms of who you refer to as we), hence, in my opinion, you are a very fickle fan and can't as such be labelled one, therefore I give you the option of being a follower or liker. I personally believe that you loyalty should lie with one team, and one team alone, but perhaps that's just me.

Crap!!! Bloody Shunsuke Nakamura but still 10 mins to go, anything can happen. BfB my loyalties do lie with one team.
Ipswich? No, Man Utd? No, Ipswich? Chelsea perhaps?

Oh nevermind, whoever's the best I guess.

I have never smiled so much at a penalty save, totally undeserved in the first place.

Fowler wrote:We won't get stuffed. We are fielding a proper team of players -

Van der Sar, Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Heinze, Ronaldo, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, Saha, Rooney. Subs: Kuszczak, Evra, Brown, O'Shea, Richardson, Fletcher, Silvestre.

Fletcher and O'Shea on the bench. We have this game in the bag.

Well well well, I hate to gloat, but I'm going to. What is that you say there Flower, you have the game in the bag? How very presumptious of you.

To think, lowly Celtic can beat the mighty Ipswich, sorry Man Utd, what a shame. Still I guess you could always become a Celtic fan now, afterall they're through. Or Arsenal? I hear they're winning.

Oh, and the penalty save really capped the night off for me, couldn't have happened to a smugger team.

(Bfb is aware that smugger is not a word).

I agree but spurs are not that good this season.

Hang on Flower, you seem to be avoiding the subject in hand, that being that you beloved team were thoroughly beaten by the Hoops.

I thought you had it "in the bag" as it were.

Gaspode_The_Wonder_Dog wrote:I have always found supporting England difficult. Players you hate from one week to the next you are supposed to get behind? Why should I suddenly want an odious little kn*b like Rooney to do well? All that "its your country" thing is surely wiped out by Mafro (or whoever) saying you don't have to support your local side. I support Everton and Everton players and most of the time I prefer them not to play internationally in case they get injured.

Yudster wrote:The great thing about the Premership this season is that potentially more than one club COULD win it. .

Thats great for Man Utd fans and those mythical "neutrals" we hear so much about but the vast majority of fans who care about the club and could point to it on a map couldn't care less. Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd it doesn't bother me who wins it as much as us getting a reserve victory over Wigan.

International football has lost its appeal, I agree completely.

And good point. As a supporter of a lowly Championship club, it is difficult sometimes to remember that there are more than three or four clubs in the Premiership. Which is an indictment of the Premiership, I guess.

And - sorry about the double post - ridiculous though the result at Celtic was last night, I really do like the idea that potentially Celtic and ManU could be the qualifiers from that group. I can't find it in myself to begrudge Celtic the points. Although I'm keeping quiet about that at home....!

It's Saha's missed penalty, (which in my eyes should NEVER have been awarded in the first place, just another example of Man Utd favourtism by a ref).
