I have thought of it but I suspect it is not that straightforward...especially as the license fee has been recognised as (another)tax.

Surely UK has to be one of the very few countries charging its citizens in order to run a radio/tv service????

You are wrong. In Poland we pay fees for having a TV or Radio at home. Even though i pay for my cable still have to pay for public tv TVP1, TVP2, the only difference is that polish channels and aspecialy radio is rubbish. But BBC is great.

And BTW your post is pointles and obviously you never gave Chris and his show a propper listen as you would know by now that most of the "offensive" stuff Chris says is a part of his "ACT" on air. Besides 6,7 Milion (if not more) of listeners says everything. He's just great and deserves his wages. (I pay TV licence and don't mind even if Chris Moyles is the only show i listen to on Radio1) I think he should get payed even more if that was to make the show better.

Leave the Moyles alone, we all know that a tendency to bully is usually the result of a deeper insecurity, making personal attacks about the fellas weight is not going to help.Many celebrities are of a larger size and this is no barrier to being amusing. In fact, traditionally, portliness and joviality usually go hand in hand.

As for the licence fee thing. I don't think that the fee all goes to Chris. I do believe that at least some of it goes towards adverts telling us we need to buy digital. There are other things too, for the love of god, I mean, READY STEADY COOK!!!!!!, SUDO-Q, what's that about.

If your gonna pick on uselesss fat people why not have a go at Eamon Holmes.

I say pay Moyles more, put him on telly 24 hours a day, let him be as rude as he likes to whomever he chooses and if all this does is piss of people like Third Wave then I say HURRAH!!!

To be honest, I think describing Moyles as a bully is a huge exaggeration. Sure, he sometimes takes the pee out of his mates, but they all understand he's just having a laugh, and they often take the pee out of him too. It might be a little hard to 'get' if you don't have that sort of relationship with your friends, but many people do, where they are comfortable enough to take the pee. I'm not saying that's the 'right' way to be friends, there is no 'right' way, but that's clearly the relationship Moyles has with his colleagues. As for the suggestion the BBC should be privatised - there's a reason it's one of the best broadcasting companies in the world, if not the best, and that's because of public funding. If the BBC wasn't publicly funded, we would never have had programmes like The Office, which was a pretty big risk on the Beebs part. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of stuff on the BBC that I don't like, but I understand that other people do like that stuff, so I just focus on what I do like.

Third wave, why don't you go and find some pants to sniff instead of coming on a Chris Moyles fansite and trying to convince a lot of dedicated listeners that he should be taken off the air.
