It all depends on how you interpret the Bible. I'm a liberal Anglican and I believe the majority of the Bible is a (dated) guideline of how you should behave in certain situations, rather than being a factual historical account of what actually happened.

Anyway, lets not start that debate again...

I'd much rather live in a sh*thole and never go on holiday and never have new clothes than live with an unhappy family. I don't want my dad to go for promotion because I don't want him getting even more stressed, i'd much rather everyone was happy. I know you have to think about responsibilities and everything but I'm sure you're aware that money isn't everything
