On the subject of number 1 singles. Westlife are now only 4 number 1's away from toppling the Beatles as the most successful British act ever (based on UK number 1's). An absolute travesty I think you'll agree. Only one more and they've toppled the bachelor boy himself, Sir Cliff.

I don't know, i'm thinking this could be a good idea, when was the last time an xmas single was released? we're still stumbling to the dance floors clinging to eachother while screeching into our smirnoff bottles with slade, and that mel &kim song rocking around the christmas tree...probably got their name wrong....but point is: go for it, not a lot to lose. christ if they can sell bob the builder....
