Fingers crossed for a win, the coach trip home is quite miserable after a loss.

If Caldwell is in the same goal-scoring form as the other night, then we should be fine.

Fletcher is an average player - but that doesn't mean he wont look brilliant in the Scotland squad. And I'm not trying to be anti-Scottish, the reality is now that most top players are surrounded by much better colleagues, and playing at a much higher level in top domestic and European competition than in international competitions.

So this is United fans from Ipswich, Fife and Bournemouth.

Excellent.

Gaspode can't talk cos he only supports Everton because they were once good.

If there's not a law that says you shouldn't support your closest team, then there should be.

Fowler wrote:Colchester are doing very well at the moment but i hate to say it Yudster but it probably won't last. I think they are playing better then they should with the players they have and soon they will back playing at the level they should which is about 16 or 17 in the table. And yes they are 2 points off the playoffs but it's early in the season and if they finish in the play offs they still have to win against to more teams and even if they do get in the premiership (which is very unlikely) they will come straight back down to the championship and do what most teams do when they are relegated and hang around the bottom of the championship like Leeds.

I absolutely agree. So I'm making the most of it while it lasts!!!!!

Go Spurs!!

yes because Chelsea's two titles bear nothing in comparison to one 2-1 victory.

Whats going on with Chelsea? 12 yellow cards in two matches? Is this referee bias, or are they believing their manager, that they are all beyond the normal rules, and behaving accordingly? Maybe a bit of both.

Problem is, the FA will slap them with fines, which is pretty much all they can do - and how is this a deterrent to a club like Chelsea? They have no reason to operate within the rules and spirit of the game if the penalty for not doing so is so trivial to them. The only thing that Chelsea would respond to in terms of punitive measures would be docking of points, and I don't think the FA has the balls to adopt such a measure.

Exactly. Maybe the FA should base fines on the amount of income of the club.
