Yeah same. Prefer to listen to moyles in the mornings, then mills on the way home.

I think she's hilarious, but I'm getting used to being in a minority on that one around here..........

I like Sara Cox in theafternoons, and Moyles in the mornings, I don't really like Mills in the morning. He's far too energetic for first thing when my alarm goes off.

I am loving Laura's diary though.. Reminds me of me a few years back...

Fowler wrote:No it's not the same, i like listening to Moyles in the morning and my Ipod on the way home. When Moyles is on holiday i have to listen to my Ipod all day which gets very boring but it is still better than Mills.

It should be good....I bet there will be some great new material....I wonder if CPC might be coming back *wonders*

Wow, if your posting style is anything to go by, I need to know which school you teach at so I can send my kids somewhere else!

Sorry rachel, just kidding, I know there's a difference between how you would write in here and what you would teach. Isn't there?! Please tell me there is......!

And how, pre-tell, does a young-un like yourself know what are the "best jobs" and how do you define a "good job" ..... money? responsibility? satisfaction? excitement? work mates?

What will you be looking for in a job Fowler?

So your criteria when you leave college, is a job where you don't get abused. Have you ever thought about the satisfaction that teachers may get when they finally make those yobbish kids realise that an education is important...... the feeling of watching a 10 year old lout with asbos coming out of his ears leave school as a 16 year old young man with good qualifications, and all of that is down to you?

Yes, you may be at a school where teachers get abused, but they're not all like that, and if you go back in five years and see a turn around in your school, then ask the teachers if they like their jobs, I bet you'd get a resounding yes.

I am not a teacher, but I know a few who are, and they all say the same to me, it's hard work, and you take a lot of **** from kids, parents and govenors... but at the end of the day it's so rewarding that it's worth it.

Discuss........

I am now at college and we have the same holidays as schools have which is brilliant. But surely you could have got a better job then being a teacher, no offence but it's not the best job is it.

fooking hell man, how wrong you could be!! its the best job in the whole wide world!! a grand pay rise every year will be on 31k soon which fair enough isnt the best but gettin paid to do the job i love is just class!!
i never ever get bored can do all sorts of exciting things everyday and be as daft as i want n get paid for it!! honestly man, i undrstand being with little ones 24/7 isnt for everyone but i love it so much!!
anyways teachings a damn better job than a million others thank you very much! you are hardly in a position to comment are you??? lolol!!

and yudster, i know im one of these annoying people who txt type almost but rest assured my little ones have me speaking and writing the queens english all day long but refer back to speaking and typing like the uneducated after school hours hehe!!xxxx

The thing is Fowler, you can't have whatever job you want. I want to be a professional footballer, but I lack the skill..... I want to be a Doctor, but blood makes me squeamish, I want to be prime minister, but I don't want to live in London. So what you have to do is chose the best of what you can do, what makes you happy. As I said, for some people it's money, but other's prefer job satisfaction, some prefer a quiet job, some people strive on stress.

So what is your dream job then Fowler? What are you aspiring to be?

Dude, chill out. I was generally interested as to what you perceive as being a "good job". Just currious that's all.

Indeed I do. oh and I have the ingrained trait of always telling the truth, so I guess that's another no no.

I'm overjoyed to find a teacher who actually enjoys their job - all the teachers I know do nothing but complain about it. But they are mostly secondary school teachers - I'm guessing from what you said you are a primary school teacher rachel? And you're not annoying me. And even if you were, so what, its only me!
