Bag for balls wrote:I'm in agreement with you there Bob......I was merely being sarcastic to yet another Londoner who exudes the air of "everything is London London London".

For what particular reason? I was just stating the fact that Borders are doing it cheap, I only pointed out it was the Oxford Street branch as I have no Idea if this is just this branch of Borders doing this offer of it was been rolled out across all their stores Nationwide

boboff wrote:What is it with you guys, Yudster hates the Welsh, well except Charlotte Church, and you've got a thing about London, personnally I can't stand people from Nempnett Thrubwell, they are all so up themselves.

BoB, i did get the sacrcasm, but Johnny seems like a nice chap and was only offering a way for fans to save £1.57, when you pay London Rents ( snigger ) you need every penny you have. I am also guessing from the 1989 reference that the chaps only what 15, lucky sod, and I am not sure but I think he might be assuming they have branches country wide.

Now say your sorry for snapping, or it's to your room with no Tea.

Actually I'm 23, The 1989 reference is a long & dull explination and is really not really worth going into :D

No, I think he mans that the sugAbabes, when mentioned in the book, are spelt wrongly i.e. in the book it's says sugaRbabes and not sugA babes as it should correctly be. It depends whihc way you read his sentence. I could be wrong though. However, if I was writing the book, I would have written sugaRbabes as that is the correct spelling of sugar!

If you want spelling mistakes try reading Peter Kay's Auto Biog - tons of them. Don't think they bothered with a proof reader

I think he means Peter Kay has written it so that it will be read in a Northern accent. Though I could be wrong...

Exactly - and I can't believe it really needed explaining.

It was pretty clear from where I was reading it. Only a f*ckwit could have read it your way.

Try reading Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh (as if it needs to be said), I gave it to a friend of mine who couldn't understand a single line until I told him to pretend to be scottish when it all made sense.

That's a book with some seriously regional dialect.

I started it yesterday, the bit about Dave taking Simon Mayo off the air, even though I'd heard it before, was brilliant.

Most grey bits I imagine would, and the first two chapters if nothing set the scene for Moyles's current life. Even then it hardly matters as if you aren't a fan, you aren't going to buy it. If you have enough of an interest in Moyles to buy the book, the first 2 chapters wil make sense to you or expand your knowledge of the show if you are just a casual fan
