Saw on the news today that people had travelled from the Isle of Wight to go to the Gary Barlow Book signing in LDN (curse you Lilly Allen), true they were slightly obbsesive and a bit scary but hey, if they can do it...

I think I'm probably gunna say something, as it'll be cool - even if it probably will result in an exagerated "I met this right geek off of Moylesworld" story next time he mentions the site.

Yes........ because getting around that M25 is an absolute doddle.

I don't know why he doesn't go their for lunch each day it's such an easy trip.

Honestly, when you think about it, he could quite easily just pop round for tea on Thursday, if he comes early the traffic won't be too bad, and there will be some of Tuesday's cake left. And he could help the kids with their Media Studies homework. I'm sure he wouldn't mind.

Of course he wont mind......... why would he...... it's hardly going to break into his day at all. He could pose for a portrait too whilst he's there, and perhaps clean out the guttering.
(and fall off the ladder, for a bit of publicity for the book).......... I shouldn't say stuff like that.

Yeah, I was going to say Eddie - just been on the phone to Ottakars MK and they say you need to buy the book beforehand in-store and join the queue. You must retain your receipt so they know you bought it in-store.

Damn, that's rubbish. I don't think I'm going to go then because I can't justify buying another copy at the instore prices. I'll think about it cos I'd really love to go.

Has no one in Scotland grasped the basic premise that if the Mountain won't go to Mohammed then........

If another Scot, moans about him not going to there place..... Hang on

it 400 miles from Glasgow to London If I left from there now I would be in London around half five,

From Truro in Cornwall its 260 miles and I would expect to get there at around Four.

So we are talking about 90 minutes difference, no one moans from Truro he hasn't come to Corwall, and I beleive with Tea in the Park and the Dundee thing the BBC have served our Northern People well this year, and indeed Cornwall with a trip to Newquay.

Still what was I thinking, these are the same idiots that write a thread complaining they can't bring their own book which they got cheaper than in the shop...... Don't you get it you wasters, the shop in on a high street which pays Rates and rent and all other bills which the Internet does not have to have, they are however located conveniently for book signings, they play on this Unique Selling point by inviting Authors along, who obligue as they make out of it, but, and this is the crux, you thickos, is that it's a business and they do it to sell more books and make money to pay the staff wages.

Some people !
