This morning, Chris mentioned the site on the show (Balls for Brains, Balls for Brains - hehehehehehe......) - and yet again he called it his Hate Site.

I just want to go on record as saying that I love the Chris Moyles Show, thats why I listen to it. If I didn't like it, I would listen to something else.

It is also the reason I came to this site, although obviously a forum such as this will discuss a wide range of topics, many of which may have very little to do with Chris Moyles.....however, a common bond of "being entertained" is what brought us all (or most of us, I'm not sure about one or two...) here. So I am not going to apologise for saying that I think Chris Moyles is the premier broadcaster in the UK by a long way, and his show is excellent. Even if I do have to switch it off occasionally when he gets annoying. But thats neither here nor there, the operative word is "occasionally".

Anyway, thats what I wanted to say.

Apart from Aled, I think the rest of the team seem to have a strange impression of the website, which is a shame. I think its a small minority that occasionally say "oh its rubbish, moyles could do better - I hate them all", but to be honest - if he actually spent time reading everyone posts then his impression of this site would change.

It appears he only ever mentions the bad stuff written about him, never the good stuff. I mean, come on Moyles - deal with it, I'm sure you've taken more **** than that before.

This is where the true fans are, we wouldn't be here, posting about how much we liked the book, or how much we like the features. If it turned out to be all Rosy and we were only allowed to say nice things and the horrible stuff was banned - then what sort of balance would that be?

Its really sad to hear them mention that there is hate going on here, when there isn't. I wish he and others from the team would start understanding that we DONT actually hate them and that he should really move on from the whole idea that there is some kind of hatred. How does it look to other people that hear about the website and then want to join?

They seem to catch the website/forum when there is something negative being said about the team. If it wasn't for fan sites, how would the show move on? I personally would rather hear the hatred here, than on some newspaper or tv show.

Its really disappointing to hear him talk about the website in this light, when lots of us support, listen and keep the forums and website going.

take the whole bricktop thing, who has we think has reappeared as Rab, job done in the end, but the thing about a society is that it needs rules, and a way of enforcing them, if your too cool you can have issues, if your too strict you cause mayhem.

I know you think about your posts and your probably fed up with some of the inane stuff we say, but the point of any community, is people have to basically enjoy being part of it.

Surely if the point of the site was to encourage some fat man's love in us, we'd hang around primrose hill and ask Chris if he'd like to come for a drive in our car......

I came to the site due to mentions on the show which were negative, but sake, it's ok, now......

You are one of the good guy's Adam, enjoy, but don't worry about what Chris says it really is un-important, if you are doing a show and you are a modest type, whay would you say..... I have a fan site and they are generally in favour of me, or I have an official site and they hate me, what is best for ratings, and what is best for the site is that he continues to slag it, he can get his bottom tongue polished wherever and whenever he chooses, he secretly likes the fact a bunch of people discuss him, wouldn't yor ?????

The point is to encourage a reaction, and Bag Ball Lady achieved that, by stating something negative but keeping the site on the radio, it all helps with Chris ( site blokes ) plans to recoup some costs through slimming pill advertising !

The problem is doesn't matter how many positive comments there are on here he will always pick up on the bad comments and talk about them on air, which is a good thing as it makes great radio

Too many knobs out there... all need to be ignored.

I think the Chris Moyles show is great, we always listen to it on the way to work - we always end up laughing, etc. If my girlfriend and I have had a litte fallen out in the morning (which is not too often, thankfully), Chris usually makes us giggle for one reason or another then we forget about the whole thing and are all happy again!

I hope Chris has a nice break away.

It brought back all that joy for me, from when I first discovered radio (in 2004!) It was like a massive laser beam being pointed at you and ballsy, and me being the bystander that was connected to the thread, I had wondered if he'd seen my hospital one too. Sheer joy. Our deeply suspicious minds love a bit of debate and banter, I was convinced the hospital thing was genuine, the car, err yeah course I was, cant possibly put myself in his shoes, hes a high flyer with a flat tyre, what more is there to be said?

We have always done that. No change is trying to be engineered.

I for one, hope people continue to come on here and express their true opinions of the show. Nothing else. If they don't like it, fine.

The main reason for locking threads is because they are drivel, or topics which mean very little to the majority of people on here (i.e. personal conversations). By all means have fun, but if you don't want threads locked then don't talk drivel..

If a message board is to be a success, it has to be full of things that many people find interesting, want to read or want to contribute to. It is not a substitute for normal human interaction, and is not a way for kids to send messages to one another when they are in class. If you have nothing of general interest to say, say nothing.
