It will soon be time for Chris Moyles to go on his Grand Tour publicising his book (Hope he comes to Yeovil!!).

And I was thinking, If he is going on TV shows what signature tune would they play for him, (if they didn't play his own of course).

As he's The Saviour of Radio One, I think it should be
    Fatboy Slim - Praise Me

Will he be "touring" around promoting his book ? I'd really like to see him? Do you know anything more then what he's saying on the radio Kwyjibo?

No, sorry

I know that Ottakars in Yeovil have had 'live' book signings for many different people, some brilliant authors such as Robert Rankin (The man is a genius!) and people who just want to promote their book such as Jade Goody.
So I live in hope 8)

Yes! And when I am queuing up in whichever one of our two Waterstones - which are all of twenty yards apart - he is in, I can look at all the other people there and wonder which one is Longview!

Christ, for a second there I thought you wrote you just got Richard Pryor's autograph (curse my dyslexia - no really), then re-read it and it made so much more sense.

Living in London, I'm pretty sure I'll find a shop he's at, or failing that, just camp outside broadcasting house till he shows up and get him to sign it then. I'm sure he'd love to sign my book at 6.50in the morning just before work.

EDIT - Ok, just remembered R1 doesn't come from broadcasting house any more it's moved around the corner.

 I Wish! He was a legend & is sadly missed. Started reading the book this morning on the way in to work, & just by the first chapter you can tell it's going to be a good book

I'm hoping the book won't be a sipid promotional publication and is more of an insight into the journey of a working class lad who eventually achieved national fame.

I just hope to be entertained by it - it's interesting that he seems to have actually written it himself, from what he has said about it on air - most celebrity autobiographies are completely and unapologetically ghost-written, and I'm really hoping Chris's isn't because I think he is a clever man with a lot to say and a ghost writer would not say it as well as I suspect he can. I'm looking forward to it - I hope it does well for him.
