As much as it pains me to say it, Chris and co won't be doing the Breakfast show forever. He's certainly get a long time still to go in my opinion, hopefully a few more years, but what will he do when he leaves?

Most former Radio 1 breakfast show hosts continue with pretty successful careers after it's all over and in the last 20 years many have made it over to Radio 2 (Steve Wright, Mark Radcliffe, Chris Evans), one's gone to Five Live (Simon Mayo), Zoe Ball seems to be doing odd bits and bobs, Sara Cox is still on Radio 1 while Kevin Greening and Mike Smith have headed into the wilderness.

Could you ever see Moylesy on Radio 2? Would Dave stay with him? It might seem wierd him being on Radio 2 - but then who would of though Chris Evans would of joined 10 years ago. Do you think he'll only leave when ratings fall and he's forced to go like Coxy or will he leave at his peak, maybe sooner than we think? It'll be interesting to know...

Well either Radio 2 or do a Mark & Lard and go back to Afternoon's, I think it would be great for him to do the afternoons again once he's had enough/push out of breakfast

I reckon after Radio 1 breakfast, he'll move to another slot on Radio 1 first... before going to Radio 2 (or possibly a chat-esque show on 5 Live) - but the everchanging radio industry, who knows.

I can't personaly see him taking a long break from radio, it's what he loves doing.

I dunno... Cant imagine him on Radio 2, altho I guess if he did move over, a lot of people would be retuning their radio's. Who would replace him tho?? Cos apart from him and Mills, the rest are all crap. They seriously need fresh meat in there...

lol radio 2?? thats sad, WHY?? What possible good could come out of that? Its a demotion, would radio 2 even like or want him? Maybe when hes 50 or something and calmed down, he'll give the oldies a heart attack if he goes in the next couple of years. Hes better than that, time for telly me say.

From what I remember Zoe Ball's show wasn't doing too bad, she went on maternity leave IIRC & then did a different show on Radio 1 before deciding (?) to go to 104.9 XFM, not sure where she is now.

Mark & Lard did terrible in the breakfast slot I believe. They only did a six month (trial or probabtion) slot & it just didn't work out. If you download the two old Chris Moyles "podcasts" from 1998 on this site you'll hear refrences to Mark & Lard due to be replaced & a "blond kids tv presenter & some bloke" can't remember who the bloke on her show was though?

Well he'd obviously change his style for a start.

I'd like to see Moyles on five live - in the evenings where it's more entertainment based and odd stories based rather than news on Iraq etc. He wouldn't get told to play a record - his links would be three hours long and Dominc could still read the news!
