Chris’s guests this week include actor/comedian Will Ferrell, who will be on the show on Tuesday promoting his new movie Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby - and Nelly Furtado, who will be joining the team in the studio on Wednesday.

The show will also be giving away tickets to Radio 1's exclusive Scissor Sisters showcase, which takes place at Maida Vale with Jo Whiley on Friday.

I predict that Will Ferrell will be a rubbish guest, i find that comedians tend to be really dull in interviews.

I met Nelly Furtado once.........she's much prettier than I thought, but I was too shy to talk to her beyond "ooh, hallo!"...........!

He was as rubbish as the rest and I am afraid that it is because Moylesy is not a good interviewer. Having guests in this show format and at breakfast is not a good idea, they do not work. Moyles cannot interview and he should stop doing it and concentrate on his great show.

Moyles' problem is that he turns every "interview" into him trying to get a part in the guest's next movie/music video/concert etc and never asks them anything interesting. Kanye West was a prime example because he is hilarious when allowed to actually talk on Westwood but as Moyles knows nothing about him he just made it all "me me me" and blamed Kanye for a poor interview.

lol what you say is true but we cant be seen to be moaning, we've already got a bad enough reputation. Sometimes because chris doesnt get on famously with the guests it can turn out to be funny as hell. I refer you to the CHRIS MARTIN interview, the funniest most dramatic interview I've heard him give, its all on the podcast from back in February. Every other interview cannot live up to that. But hey he hit back at his critics on air more or less saying 'tough'. I like the fact he doesnt care, Jonathan Woss is the king of the interview business, because his shows format is based around it. Moyles has his work cut out in making sure these interviews are lively and work without the use of a live audience and the glamour of a TV studio.

I think it also should be remembered that Chris has his work cut out interviewing people who are, lets face it, mostly not very clever, not very interesting and if they are awake enough to remember, are only interested in promoting their whatever. The David Beckham interview was different, because DB IS interesting so Chris could actually ask him proper questions - and his "whatever" was really just himself, so he was able to just respond and chat without getting pissed off that Chris didn't want to talk about his book, or record, or tour..... And also he was professional enough to be bothered to be awake enough to do a good job, and prepared enough to sound good. I think mostly Chris does whatever is appropriate to the standard of his guest. If they can't be arsed, an often they seem not to, then why should he? And I think he expects us to get that.
