I didn't hear it - but I remember that Flowers guy being interviewed at Live 8 and thought exactly the same.

I kind of heard the first hour of Jo Whiley while drifting in and out of sleep and the whole idea of taking the show to Blackpool just seemed a whole waste of time.

I'm brilliant at talking, do it a lot - I have to talk to people at home, at work, I have to do all sorts of different talking and it is really important that I am interesting and sometimes funny. I am really good at being interviewd as well, I've been on the radio loads (not Radio 1, Radio 4 - don't ask....). Absolutely CRAP at being in a rock band though, really really useless. I wonder why that is?

Why oh why did the hype up the Killers so much last week... and they're doing the same with Scissor Sisters this week.

Granted they are both good bands, but they're no Oasis or Chilli Peppers or U2...... it's ridiculous.

Didnt listen to the interview, I'd like to know what they thought of Blackpool, as I was born there, and too often you get a yank saying they never even heard of Blackpool, I hope they were pleasantly surprised.

I like All The Things I've Done, as ever it takes me a while to 'get' a band.
