The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Its not an outrageous lie, if you listen to the PDiddy - Beyonce podcast he does the exact same thing that Russell Brand did on his prior to this whereby listeners to the podcast are told to shout out loud the phrase "chicken fried rice for everybody!" as they out and about, just randomly like. He must of realized that this was already done by Brand when he heard the phrase being shouted out in the first place. It cant be just a coincidence of ideas! Bit cheeky that innit!

Was walking through Camden at the weekend, and all of a sudden the silence was broken by some bloke in (ockney yelling from somewhere in a tower block high above us "Cheer up, it might never 'appen!". There was no prelude or aftermath to this, just that one sentence in clear strong (ockney ringing over the rooftops. No other voices were heard.

I've been puzzling about this since Sunday.. Anyone got any ideas what this was about? A variant on the Chicken Fried Rice?

Good god that is badly written! doesn't make much sense apart from something about Moyles once doing a guess the missing word competition which was similar to one some other bloke had done? Hardly stealing.

Give Ian Collins some lessons then - who penned the badly written piece in question. Also, It doesn't matter if you're straight or gay, we wont judge you either way.

The missing word feature is done by EVERY broadcaster at somepoint in their career. It's lazy radio and fills a slot. It's like a mystery sound competition.

The chicken fried rice thing was intentionally copied as they were talking about this catchphrase before, and they werent sure where it came from.

they never acknowledged that they got it from Russell Brand though, I think that they must have heard it or been informed of the idea since then

Yeah because they were talking that they didn't actually know where it came from.... I'm sure if someone told him it was Russel Brand then they would quickly stop as any sane person knows Russel Brand is a *

Brand is a tosspot. With more hair than is needed and too many flaws to mention.
The fact he works for the BBC pisses me off, although... they did sign up other numpties like Norton and McCall who are worse.
I don't mind O'Leary though as he has the potentional to be quite a good broadcaster unlike the other Channel 4 cast offs.

I just like the dynamic that they have on Brand's show with Trevor Lock as the sort of humiliated, scapegoat character

I actually really like Russel Brand, particularly on Big Mouth. His radio show is alright too, although on there you catch glimpses of his real character which isn't always pleasent. The bullying Trevor Lock thing is tiresome now even if it was funny at first

I did like Russel Brand on Big Mouth, at first, but after a short while he became boring, very boring, bloody irritating and then 'off button'! seemed to me to be the same old talk-sh*t-and-fall-over-people stuff every day!
