Opinions/comments on the shows coming up this week below please...

God that was painful, don't know if it was because Dave wasn't there, or maybe because all the Newquay stuff over the weekend, but this mornings show was terrible. The only bit that i liked were the little Ghost Dave clips, apart from that it was one of the worst shows in a long time.

And as for Longman, well he was totally out of his depth, he might be funny on the phone for a few minutes (although i personally don't think he is), but having him on for the whole 3 hours was a mistake. And the fact that Chris was asking for people to text in saying how good Longman was, made me think that even he could see that he wasn't really working.

I agree that the funniest thing about today's show was the ghost of dave! Very amusing indeed. However to be fair Longman was put in a difficult position today. Having no previous broadcasting experience the beeb were asking too much as it wasn't like he was going on local toss pot radio to talk to Jolly Jimmy about pig racing. Going on Moyles show on national Radio 1 is the biggest and best thing you could ever do in british radio.

So fair play to him for even trying, although I would say he would have been paid a pretty penny just for today's 'freelance' presenting.

Ok, so i'm fed up with so called fans not making any comments about shws except for "Longman is crap", "The shows not as good as it used to be" etc

Todays show has been brilliant so far with the highlights in the first hour being Chris and Dave bickering over the music of 91 and the animal freindly meat suppliers.

Cant beleive he phoned the celebrity tarzan woman back and that it was so easy!

Rest of the show was brilliant especially the 5 live auditions, Daves feet and the Traffic half hour!

With regards to the Longman comments... MY GOD, PEOPLE, DO YOU HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO???!!! IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE SHOW, DON'T LISTEN. IF YOU LIKE IT, GREAT, BUT WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS SITE OTHER THAN YOU GUYS HAVING A GO AT CHRIS ALL THE TIME?

So your saying because i don't like Longman i shouldn't listen to the show anymore?! .

And just because we like Chris doesn't mean we should think everything he does is great, i'd say he get his fair share of positive and negative comments here.

The point of this site is that its a fansite - where fans of Chris can talk about and DISCUSS the show (i.e. what they enjoy, what they don't).

We do not have a go at Chris all the time. Its rubbish. It's the picture he likes to paint and the picture idiots like you go along with.

Your point seems to be that people who don't like Longman shouldn't listen. What about people who have listened to Moyles for almost ten years, on a daily basis? They should should turn off because they don't like Longman (a reasonably new addition to the show)?

It isn't going to happen, sorry. If you want a fansite that just kisses ass, we can happily redirect you.

this is exactly what i used to say to these people, although i havent listened to chris now since 2004,like most people on here who dont listen often, i have better things to do.

It's not that we don't like the show - we love it otherwise we wouldn't listen. The point is that we can't like every single feature and every single second that Chris broadcasts.

Of course it's incredibly easy to criticise from behind an anonymous guest poster guise

I remember this show and it was very funny. Not the funniest ever but funny.
