MC - Apologies for the fact that I missed the first 45 minutes of today’s show down to the fact that my tape screwed up and didn’t record

The rest of the show (and particularly the rest of my bit) was pretty dire anyway so I don’t think I missed too much. When my tape eventually decided to record, Chris was in the middle of a big rant about Heat Magazine, down to the fact that in this weeks edition they have published photos of him picking his nose. Chris and Aled moaned about the fact that Heat has gone downhill recently and Chris said he is getting fed up of all the ‘celebrity spotted’ items in there (ironic because as soon as he’s one of them he’s not happy and he's never mentioned it before).
Aled also moaned about the fact that Boyd Hilton never mentions the show in the radio section. Dave said he did mention the show in there - but just mentioned some other shows more. Chris light heartedly said he was thinking about suing Heat over the photos and said he wanted an apology from Editor and friend of the show Mr Mark Frith. Chris said apology = no lawsuit. Aled made a phone call to the Heat Office but the response wasn’t so good. Chris said he had hit a nerve. There was obviously some kind of reply from Heat that Chris wouldn’t discuss on air.
Julian the Radio 1 press guy said he’d discuss it off the air with Chris but not on the air. Chris promised to tell the story on the air but never did. Dave referred to the situation as bogey-gate. Chris said that by getting all of the Heat Office to tune into the show they were doubling the station's listening figures anyway. Georgina from Newsbeat said it will teach Chris to keep his hands in his pockets in future.
David Garido who reads the sports news revealed today that he is 23. Chris said that it explained his ‘don’t call me love alright’ attitude. Garido said he had stopped with that now. The Monday Surgery returned (a day later than scheduled) with Dr Chris and Nurse Dave. The e-mail questions were mainly dull and the only one that is worth noting was the one from someone asking if they should get their left or right ear syringed first as they were getting them done this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Chris and Dave both said left but the only problem was that it was 4.15 when Dave read out the e-mail in the first place.
David Garido has an afro and looked like a white Michael Jackson, or so he thought. David Garido claimed he was 23 again. Georgina got in a few digs at Chris for his nose picking. Georgina said he will definitely be pick of the week but not for the radio. Chris opened the phone lines for the Late Monday Surgery.

1. Douglas - should he watch all of celebrity wifeswap or should he watch half of it and turn over to watch a life of grime.
2. Chris - going to galway. should he go on a plane or a ferry?
3. Paul - it his missus birthday and going out with her and the in laws. Should he pay for them?

Xmas Number 1 battle is on

Chris said that he should release a single called If you dont want to buy Blue, buy us instead. Chris said that they should charge it for a penny. It wouldnt be chart eligible though. Chris bought 11 albums and is eager to listen to Sean Paul. He put them in order of where he would be listening to them

Mark Owen - In your own time - car
Primal Scream - Dirty Hits - car
Dido - Life for Rent - washing up
Ryan Adams - Rock n Roll - first thing in the morning
Black Eyed Peas - Elephunk - on in the background while hes doing work
DMX - Grand Champ - on in the background while hes doing work
Underworld - 92-03 - before going out
Basement Jaxx - Kish Kash - an anytime album
Ludicrus - Chicken and Beer - car
Sean Paul - Dutty Rock - car
Beautiful South - Gaze - anywhere

Chris had a dilemma. Should he go out on the lash with Dan or should he go out to see the Darkness or should he stay in and watch Celebrity Wifeswap. He wasnt really in the gig mood.

James Tomorrow - James is a good example of a one syllable name beginning with the letter J, Other popular examples include John and Jack - Jack Klugman was most famous for playing the fictional detective Quincy - Quincy Jones shares the same surname as Dave Jones who is the manager of Wolves - The word wolves is almost an anagram of the word gloves - Gloves are often worn by cat burglars to prevent them leaving finger prints that could result in them being caught by the fuzz 0 Caught by the Fuzz was a top 43 hit for Supergrass - Take away the super and you are left with Grass which is the food of choice for bovine cattle - Cattle come in many different breeds and in that respects share something in common with dogs and potatoes - Potatoes can be peeled as can an orange - Orange is a colour often worn by Buddhists - Buddhists usually congregate in a temple - If you remove the final e in temple and replace with an -ar you are left with Templar which was the character surname in the Saint, Simon Templar who was famed for having a halo - Which links us to Halo by Texas
