Chris can’t believe we are in February already. He stayed in and watched TV last night, he watched The Bill for the first time in ages and was amazed about how many ex-Eastenders actors there are in it. He said that they used to go straight to panto when they left Eastenders, but now it seems they go straight to The Bill. It was Scottie’s birthday today, and he didn’t receive any cards. Chris decided to make him one right in front of his eyes to cheer him up.
The Team have been sent an information pack for a fundraising event for Comic Relief. They want the team to pluck a few hairs from their heads so they can auction it off for charity. Chris chickened out so he said he’ll pluck some hair from Aled’s head instead. This made Aled very nervous, however Chris couldn’t grip it to get it out so he decided to cut a load off instead, but this scared Aled even more. I really hope someone recorded this because Aled’s squeals of “Chris, Chris stop it! Dave is he taking a lot? Chris!” have to be heard to be fully appreciated!
Chris tried to show how easy it was to vote for Will Young on 08700 100 100. The problem was that it was always engaged with other people trying to get through. They were also getting people getting through to the studio by mistake. Chris finally voted and said his name was Lord Byron Stevenson.
Chris wanted to know what Angry Kid was as he was hearing people talk about it. It is a new animation from the Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run crowd, Aardman Animations. It will be shown on BBC3.
Aled had been kidnapped by LibertyX Independent Members Party also known as L.I.M.P. If Chris didnt say that LibertyX are great and better than Will Young then Aled wont be on the show. Chris called it a limp gag. He wasnt bothered. Will said that Dave Pearce was bigging up LibertyX last night so he assumed that Dave Pearce had got him. He thought they should kidnap Kate from Daves show, because shes good looking, plus it means she wont have to work till 8pm.
Chris had bad indigestion. Will suggested he get Rhys to get some Rennies. Dave said he got rid of the bit of Twix from his tooth when the hot tea melted it. Dave had to be nice boyfriend tonight and have to watch Big Thursday on E4 with his girlfriend so he can have a weekend with the boys for football.
TV Choices were done by Aled and it included Eastenders, DIY SOS (which Chris hates and possibly everyone else in the world) and Rogue Traders which Chris loves although hates the cheapest camera in the world used in the show. I havent seen the show but the way Chris described it, it sounded like a complete copy of the Jonathan Maitland show House Of Horrors on ITV.
