Chris working on a Bank Holiday can only mean one thing, hes pissed off. Chris tried and pleaded with Lorna to get the day off but to avail. Further adding fuel to his fire was that Will had the day off as he had booked it in advance. It was Macauley Culkins birthday and he is 21. It is also Steve Wrights and he was 48. Chris got Dave to check to see if he was on but Alex Lester was filing in for him. As with most bank holiday fare, Radio 1 tried to rope in some twist to the schedule and it was 1 Live Tracks throughout the show. The first live track they played was Pink distinctly singing off tune and laughing during the song.
Lizzie had a Guess Who which none of the team got as it was John Savident, best known for playing Fred Elliott in Coronation Street. Chris then took it upon himself to drag out the feature by playing another round but Dave wasnt allowed to guess because he already knew so the other 2 girls failed to guess it was Edith Bowman from RI:SE.
Chris decided to ring Will to see what he was doing... then rang him again for Lizzie to say goodbye... then rang him again for Dave to say Goodbye... then rang him to say goodbye himself... then rang him to say its Steve Wrights birthday... then rang him again to tell him Coventry got beat by Watford...
Where was Will - Will was on the coast in Wittering near Chichester at a friends house. He was with his missus and he wasnt listening to the show. He was about to go back to Surrey.
Chris managed to slip in the fact that Leeds were top of the league (played 2 matches). Chris opened the phone lines for Mystic Horse. Chris barracked Lizzie for not wearing her helmet again whilst riding her bike.
Celebrity Survivor talk began. Chris wanted Tony Blackburn to win and Dave wanted Darren Day to get showered with maggots. Chris asked if every professsional boxer has to have a lisp.

Chris One of the girls who used to work there who entered a modelling competition with the Daily Sport, didnt tell anybody so all the lads sitting there one morning before starting work at top man reading the paper, one of them goes, bloody hell look, look, its the bird and she walked in and they went, alright love, seen the paper with you in, cracking pair them, get them out more often, might sell some more clothes. Oh I had a laugh until I had to leave
Dave Werent you fired from that job?
Chris No, I Left, I know one of the rare jobs that I decided to leave and we went back a year, 2 years ago to do something for some bizarre reason*

Chris No studio in there anymore. Tell you who used to come in, Malandra Burrows. The Kathy girl out of Emmerdale so I used to always play her record that she released when she came in so she felt popular. She would leave though

*Chris, Dave, Rhys and Melinda went to Leeds Top Shop in 2000 as part of Radio 1 talent where Fierce (bit like Eternal they were) performed. At the same time Emma B was with Madasun and the Dum Dums in Edinburgh and Jamie Theakston was with Precious (band who entered Eurovision, Jenny Frost of Atomic Kitten was in them and one of them know is Fosters Pit Girl).
