As you will no doubt have heard, next week Chris will be switching on the Christmas lights in Inverness. Preparations are well underway, which include the creation of a special 'Moyles Family Tartan'.

The plan for the evening is as follows:
15.00: Show broadcast from Radio Scotland studios
17.30: Cathedral doors open for ticketed event for youngsters
17.55: Provost William Smith arrives and is greeted by the provost of the Cathedral
18.00: Christmas Carol singing starts
18.25: Arrival of Santa in Cthedral
18.25: End of carol service and Santa leads children outside
18.40: Chris Moyles arrives with Comedy Dave, Aled and Rachel plus dancers from Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime
18.45: Provost speaks to the crowd and then invites Chris Moyles to join him on
the bus
18.50 - 18.59: Chris Moyles and the team speak to the crowd before starting a countdown to 7pm
19.00: Cathedral bells sound for 2 minutes as the river lights come on
19.02: When the Cathedral bells stop, the 19th regiment fire their gun as a signal to light the Christmas tree outside the Castle. Every light on the tree is sponsored in memory of someone to raise funds for the Highland Heart Beat appeal
19.03: Chris starts a countdown to the lighting of the Christmas lights, and the firework display commences
