£25 for a monkey? They can *beep* right off! I'll stick to playing with my monkey, that's free...

Exactly, they'll always find more ways to make money!

Whilst reading the Radio Times

pg 21:

Kevin Lygo - Our biggest show for the Autumn is Chris Moyles's daily live show, produced by Chris Evans. It'll be live from a pub, it will be an irreverant, fun show with elements of TFI Friday, and will start late september.

pg 11:

Radio 1 ladette Sara Cox is in the frame to front a new TFI Friday-style show on Channel 4, set to be broadcast from a disused pub in east London. Cox's co-presenter will be RI:SE presenter Colin Murray.

The whole broadcasting a show from a pub or bar style atmosphere is so passe. Its 2002 and studies have shown that 'staying in' is the new 'going out'. Why take out a mortagage for a pint of watered down beer at your local when you can pick up a 4 pack down the offy for a simliar price.

The internet has become the equilivant of a social club nowdays. You spend you evening talking to people you don't like and try chatting up a minger which you are incapable of seeing at the end of the night.

Heres my pitch, a chat show broadcast from a bedroom/living room. Each week the host invites various celebs back to his bedsit to share a joint and a few tinnies whilst having a chat, listening to some crazy cut ups and staring at absurd porn movies downloaded from the net.

I could see channel five being very interested in this....

I like going out, I find it intolerably boring to stay in (which I'm having to do at the moment - lack of funds.) I would prefer to go down the pub/club to get a few beers at the offy as its more sociable. And a chatting up mingers is half the fun. Has anyone played that game where you put a few quid in each and go your separate ways. The geezer that comes back with the worst looking minger wins the money! :D

The Frank Skinner show is starting again in a couple of weeks, so I'd imagine Unplanned will be left until after that.
