I have some exciting new news which I was going to post in the General section, but I'm so nervous I thought I might only soft-soft-launch it to the core group of the Ask Aled users first.

I have.... drrrrrrrr... made my own first.... website!!!!! woo-hoo!!!

I bought an HTML book a couple of weeks ago and with the help of my flatmate started making it. It's a blog-site mainly as I'm fed up with driving SO much traffic to Rupert Murdoch and MySpace, and also having to constantly delete all the user-generated porn that people leave on my profile (which gets me into trouble with the BBC bosses).

So here is my own, privately owned blogsite. Thing is it's v1.0 with a couple of flaws e.g. it looks great in Opera or Firefox but the font is HUGE in IE and I don't know how to change that!?

Anyway, I thought I'd let you guys (and girls) see it first then you can tell me what you think before I role it out to the masses.

Congrats on the Sonys. Entire team and Radio 1 in general deserves a good pat on the back. I can't remember the station ever being this strong. It was long overdue for Chris, and about time he got some good publicity and recognition.

Also, loving the website. Quite funny to see a top international radio producer like yourself (hows that for sweet talking?) begging for advert clicks though
