You should iron your own shirt lazy! It's not that hard to be vaguely domesticated.

Even when I didn't live at home I took all my washing and ironing home to my Mum. Mum's like to feel useful and needed.

My mum doesn't, she didn't even do my ironing when I lived at home.

Ironing? Why bother?

Because I don't want to look like a scruffy c*nt.

Creases just drop out after a few hours anyway.

I can't stand to wear unironed clothes - never have, never will. Luckily the wife does it! (Let it be noted that I do my fair share of stuff around the house, just not ironing - thankfully!)

i like the wrinkled look. it makes me look "laid back", "casual", and "hip"- everything i can do to buck the librarian stereotype.

eddie, your family unit sounds very cute and wholesome. i want that someday, but alas... it'll never happen if i'm a part of it.

really? my mom made me do my family's laundry when i was 10- i was raised by wolves.

laundry's easy. ironing is a waste of time.

It just takes up so much time laundry. I do it when I really have to and don't mind but my mother seems to actually enjoy doing it for me. Easiest just to let her.

I'm awful at cooking. M & S microwave stuff is my limit. Don't think I'd make a good housewife.

I would be good wife material, I'm generally tidy, I can cook, and laundry is not a problem. But I never see myself marrying. But eternal dating seems quite scary too.

You're a gentleman Sidla. You deserve to find a really lovely girl.

Bet you'll change your mind bout that when you're 60 and have a wife that doesn't know how to make a roast dinner. Viagra only helps so much.

you don't know that! i thought my ex (my first "bf") was the only guy for me. i wasted 2 years pining for him before we got together, when he dumped me i was shattered. i thought that was it... i lost my chance.

6 months later i started dated my current bf (my second "bf", though only real one.), and it's been pretty good. i had no idea he existed before, and i thought i was doomed to be alone. it can happen, so don't give up.

revenge came later when my ex came out- 2 years after he dumped me! turned out he was pretty sure he was gay when we "dated", but didn't want to hurt me. hmm... i think he's a neurotic ass and probably wouldn't dislike him as much had he been honest with me.

Well she was sort of semi-mean to me last night, so if she keeps that up I'll be forgetting about her soon.
