OK, here goes. My system works like this. The people in the above list, as far as I can ascertain, are all those after a copy of the hallowed chrismoyles.net sound vault CD compilation.

If you're not on this list and you'd like to be, or if you're on this list and you have a copy already, message me and I'll update the list accordingly.

If you already have a copy of the CD, and you're willing to send one or more copies along to people in the above list, pick your favourite(s) and click on them to send them a private message indicating you're willing to pass on a copy. It is up to you to offer, and this system relies as much on your goodwill as it does on the above.

Those on the list who have been contacted by a supplier should message me letting me know who your supplier is so I can update your status on the list while you're arranging delivery. Suppliers remain anonymous to others, and are free to supply as many users as they wish, but don't be a timewaster.

If you are marked on the list as being served and haven't received your CD within a reasonable period of time, try and sort it out with your supplier. If you both agree to scrap the deal you should both let me know so I can update your status and leave you open to offers once more. Once you've received your copy you can have yourself removed from the list and you can go on to offer copies to others on the list.

I hope this system sounds simple and reasonable enough to all concerned, and (naturally) that it works. - jc

Since this was first thought of, there have been many additions to the sound vault.

Will there be maybe an updated CD made, and we can start from scratch??

You are right. But probably the only person with copies of everything that has been uploaded is Chris. He's already attempted to restart the chain several times, and has left it to board members to sort it out themselves.

It would be making things even more difficult if a second version of the CD were produced anyway. We're finding it difficult enough trying to find sharing people who already have a copy of the original.

I think the Sound Vault has hit > 650MB, but I'd have to check. I'm sitting in the garden at the moment so can't be arsed.

Well, you should be OK for another 52MB or so providing 700MB CDs are used. I'd be happy to kick-start this process, at any rate. - jc
