Yes it is because of that, dont have internet at home, and so must use it at my college.

Why the hell would it block that link? It's a simple mp3 of webspace. Strange network you have there.

when i was at school, the network blocked the downloading of *.mp3, to stop illegal downloads and wasting server space.

Thing is, the hard drive on our school network was only about 6 gigs before they finally got round to upgrading it, so if everyone was downloading mp3s it would fill up pretty quickly.

25MB per space when i was at school. No blocking on downloading mp3's though. Although they did block sites. So we used to use either:-
proxify.co.uk
proxify.com
proxify.net
proxify.org
proxify.us
(all the same site just different endings for when they blocked one) and Anonymouse was another. They actually got mentioned in the assembleys. Lucky them zzzzzz.
