What player do you use when you listen to Radio 1 on the internet, I prefer the Real One Player as you can pause and rewind the live stream. Miles better than the actual player.

Where's the 'Other' option, I don't use either to listen again, I use MPlayer.

Likewise, where's the "I don't listen to Radio 1 Online cos I'm on crappy dial-up" option.

I hate streams. They should release each listen again as an MP3 file.

I listen (semi-)live online everyday at work. I stream my recording of the show from my Linux box to my work computer so I can catch up on whatever I missed on my way to work and skip the songs and BB interviews.

Is there any other streams of radio 1 besides realmeadia form? Becuase when I used to be at school everyone used to listen to Chav 102.2 (Galaxy 102.2), becuase there was no realplayer on the computers (space saving).
So I had to bring in my personal stereo to listen to a real radio station, and proper DJs (Mark and Lard at the time). Rather than the Galaxy DJ's ho used to talk once every hour hyping up th new "Chingy" "tune".

So yea, does anyone know of any windows media streams for R1. Becuase Im sure that some of the people i still know at school would like to know. And i thought if anyone would know it would be you lot over here.

Yeah, probably. Although I am by no means the geekiest person I have ever met, by a loooong way, infact I'm normal in comparison.

I'm sure you meant to type Letchworth. Letchworth is the worlds first garden city and other than that it is probably in the top 100 most boring places on Earth, although we recently had a £50,000 piece of art installed in the town center. Its just 9 iron bars arranged like a house, what a waste of money!

Wow... at least the Millenium Dome has purpose now in it's recycled form.

is it just me that likes the fact people are putting pieces of art and stuff in towns and cities these days? even if its sh*te at least it is an effort to make places more interesting.

It's ok until it goes too far. We've just got ornate lampposts, a few signposts (which are pointless given the place is so small anyway) and a map in the town square.
