....but I've heard rumours that the Angelman himself, Comedy Dave is leaving the show to work on Virgin and Chris may eventually leave to concentrate on his new TV career. Please tell me I'm wrong because it would be so dull without either of them. When they were on holiday i was forced to listen to Virgin (because Emma B is dull) and its not a patch on Radio 1 (although some of the music is better i'll admit).

We can't let this happen, we have to save the savours of Radio 1!

Katgirl - Moyles has just signed a two year contract with radio 1 so he's not going anywhere for a while, and I doubt Dave would leave. The two are not just collegues but mates. It does worry me that Dave is gonna get restless though, he writes half the show but rarely gets any credit for it.

ive been woried about Dave leaving the show for about 12 months as he doesnt get much credit for his work. i mean you ask people who listen to the show but arent big fans like us and they will say that Chris writes all the material. I mean Dave already has his job on the saturday show and so after a bit it all might get too much for him.

Although Dave may well strike up contracts with other companies, I think that he'll stay with the chris moyles show.

I think that one of the reason's he'll do this is cos he works so much better with Chris. They know what each other are like, they know what each other finds entertaining and good radio, they think along the same lines, have the same sense of humour, can bounce ideas of each other. All in all, they make a good team. Whatever else he does, I don't think he'll give that up.

If you look at listings for Marc and Lard, it still says "Marc Radcliffe". That would pee me off.

Thanks for all the replies, turns out my mate had read it on the BBC board (I haven't been there since they messed up his mini site.)

Anyway, i suppose Dave would have to stay there now to pay off his expensive engagement ring.
