ill just use one thread instead of create loads to see things ive spotted but at moment i only got 3 things at the minute

1. ive noticed the "write the theme tune, sing the theme tune" sketch is bang on again, its definitely dennis waterman singing the theme tune to his show new tricks.

2. jamie oliver and his turkey twizzlers. before he came along, id never heard of them. i have heard of them now but ive never seen what one looks like. is it a united kingdom thing that northern irelanders dont get.

3. i havent watched big brother, ive just read about it. so if people are talking about it i can still join in though never having watched it. ive seen the females, dont need to watch it really. what is it with the auditioners, if theyre desperate for publicity, at least make em look nice.

They've basically stuck their articles in a standard format so that people can display BBC news stories on their own web sites or have them displayed in a news ticker on their desktop - it's like a way of reading the BBC's news (and other things possibly) without actually going to the BBC site.

you are correct sir:

The United Kingdom is made up of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Its full name is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Great Britain, however, comprises only England, Scotland and Wales. Great Britain is the largest island of the British Isles. Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic form the second largest island.
