pompey are also keen to sign leon osman from everton. is he anygood? i think its a free transfer now hes just turned 24 we wont have to pay any compensation. local press reports say we are offering him £12k a week which allegedly is a "significant improvement" on what he is currently earning at goodison.

everton also linked with French goalkeeper Bertrand Laquait (i dont know who he is either!) and Scott Parker

yeah the rumour is it is almost a done deal. only problem might be if wigan step in. he is an ok player but i wouldnt be devestated if he left. Everton won't pay him the wages he wants, he would improve your squad but hes not gonna sell season tickets.

Scott Parker - also every team hes linked with
Gabbidon - looks like he is moving and his agent is touting him around.
Smertin, Tonge and especially Forrsell I wouldn't be disappointed with.
Crouch.. just dont want him.

Bolton seem to be trying to steal all the players we want, we need them much more than they do! We've been linked with Crouch as well, but not really bothered about him.

The ironic thing at City is, if we gave our academy players such as Lee Croft and Bradley Wright-Phillips more of a chance, rather than just the odd quarter of an hour at the end of a game, we wouldn't really need to buy a lot of new players, as it is the only striking talent we have at the moment is Robbie Fowler, which 10 years ago would have been fantastic, but these players can't be great forever!

Can't really think of one particular player at the moment I'd like for City who would realistically sign for us, just have to leave it up to good old Psycho!
