Anyone who likes the Foos because Dave was in Nirvana should be kneecapped. If you can't appreciate a band because of the music they play then you're a * cretin.

The Foos are a great band on their own merit, those that don't agree, that's fine, we're all entitled to our own opinions, but until I can play guitar as well as Dave I don't feel I'm in any position to criticise him. :D

Is that the one that has Tenacious D in the video coz Dave Grohl was the shiny demon in Tribute?

Jack Black and the other guy were both in Learn to Fly as the plane's janitor type people, well before the viedo for Tribute was made. Dave and Jack are mates from way back, and they've been in a few videos together since those two....

If he was in Nirvana that lowers his credibility.

Not really, hes well known for being in nirvana, and how popular nirvana were, half because of Kurt "dieing" not for their actually music

Some of us were big Nirvana fans before Kurt topped himself. Unfortunately these days most people who seem to wear Nirvana hoodies etc. probably weren't even born when Kurt topped himself.....

Yeah, thinking about it I can actually remember where I was and what I was doing when I first heard about 9/11, there's not many events in your life you can say that about.

I was at work, listening to the radio... happened in the middle of Mark and Lard. There was 1 newsbeat just saying that a plane had crashed into the WTC, then half an hour later about a 2nd plane... another hlaf hour and they said 1 of the towers had collapsed.

then I went home at 4.30 and 5 minutes later (ahh the days when I lived close to work) I was watching it all on news 24. I also remember it because my parents came home from holiday that day, got home just after me but had no idea about what had happened.

I remember where I was when I found out Princess Di died and I couldn't have been more than about 10 at the time. It made no impact on me - I didn't spend any time thinking about it yet even now I can remember the exact moment perfectly.

I was in a nightclub. Very spooky fact: the power went in the club at exactly the same time as her crash. Very weird

I was at the cinema the night that it happened. Its sad when anyone dies young esp if they leave kids but I thought all the media coverage afterwards was disgusting. I made a point not to watch any of it.
