I bet the same claim about failure will be made in other sports... like if certain brit players don't WIN Wimbledon, only get to the semi-final or whatever... or ronnie o'sullivan in snooker... who's 'taking a year out' just because he didn't get to the embassy world final.... or ferrari if they don't win the f1 championship (people complain whatever they do though coz they aren't a british team, even though theres a brit at the heart of it)...

ALL will be called 'failures' regardless... even though it won't be true in many if any of these cases.

Anyone who thinks we're contributing to the dumbing-down of internet forums can shove their stupid opinion up their a$$

Fair point but chelsea have won the league and mickey mouse cup im certain they would have settled for that before the season started

I think Ronnie O'Sullivan is an arse. Threw all his toys out of the pram just for losing a game of snooker. Most other snooker players are gracious in defeat, so it's hard to have any respect at all for Ronnie.

Me too. It's like him saying if he can't win he doesn't want to play. Even Chelsea wouldn't say that.
