The Premier League team of the season has been announced and here it is:

Goals
Petr Cech (Chelsea)

Defence
Gary Neville (Man Utd)
John Terry (Chelsea)
Rio Ferdinand (Man Utd)
Ashley Cole (Arsenal)

Midfield
Frank Lampard (Chelsea)
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
Arjen Robben (Chelsea)
Shaun Wright-Phillips (Man C)

Strikers
Thierry Henry (Arsenal)
Andrew Johnson (C Palace)

Do you agree/disagree? Personally I'd replace Ashley Cole with Gabriel Heinze, Arjen Robben with Christiano Ronaldo and Andrew Johnson with Wayne Rooney. I'm not a Man U fan, honest.

I would not have kept Johnson in. half his goals are from penalties and hes a diving cheat but other than that I'd agree with it

impressive numbers of english players as well

ok being serious for a bit i would agree with mafro and take out cole and have heinze. i would leave the midfield as it is. up front i would have henry and controversialy i would have eidur gudjhonsen, hes very underratted. id rather have him than johnson.

I would like to see them recognise players outside the top teams and not just go off reputation.

My Team:

Cech - no real errors

Ben Haim - I know hes a centre back but hes still good
John Terry - class player
Jamie Carragher - still a red sh*te
Heinze - another gobsh*te for united but good player

Lampard - becoming overrated though
Makelele - the reason Lampard has been so good
Cahill - I'm biased but so what, one of the main reasons for our season.
Gera - far too good for WBA

Johnson - for that goal against red sh*te alone
Rooney - he is pure quality. bastard.

get over it, you beat the bottom of the league side. It's not a massive achievement.

Ashley Cole has to be one of the most over-rated players in the League. I'm sick of hearing "he's the best left back in the world" from various Arsenal team members and supporters. Heinze has been far better over throughout the season.

Heinze been one of the best defenders in the league this season, and Gary Neville was in the premiership 11.

FACT

Dickie Wins

thats because they all w*nk over gary neville and there isn't any other right backs anywhere.

I agree with Heinze but hes still a tw*t.
