one argued "but in mid ulster, the turnout was 85%"

yeah but we dont have any labour, lib dem or conservative, maybe thats why the turnout is better.

I don't understand how anyone can vote for someone who's policies are "we will give you everything you want (oh by the way we can't cos it doesn't add up but we'll worry about that later), oh and Tony Blair's a knob."

I was Green then Lib Dem - but it was close.

We have posters for Veritas and bloody BNP around here.... given the similarities in their policies on foreigners etc those two could merge.

The results of this poll so far have caused me to lose the final bit of respect I had for the members of this board.

Veritas and BNP could go hand-in-hand, but not UKIP, which Kilroy-Silk used to be in.

He was out campaigning where he's standing as an MP and he met an immigrant who was going back to his home country "next July", to which Kilroy-Silk asked "Why next July? Why not tomorrow?"

they came here to escape a war, the war as now ended why should they stay?

Because it might still be dangerous for them to return to their own country. Besides most refugees here are doing the jobs that we ourselves don't want to do and employers find it difficult to fill.

UKIP are dangerous though.. I read on their web site once that if they got in Government they would reduce crime "at all costs." That's just plain scary. Plus all of their policies revolve around keeping Britain out of Europe - what about the other burning issues?
