im just wanting to know how to get crystal clear sound from listening 2 radio 1 on your computer as if you were listening to it on a Hi-Fi instead of the buffered streaming internet quality

you'll never get as good quality as you do on sky or DAB (where most of the clips from the vault are recorded from) online.

I've tried lookin around for a DAB PCI card but im having no luck I wana keep trying though

just get a standalone DAB reciever and wire it in to your line in socket on your sound card

that works? Ive been getting lost in the whole Radio cards'n'capture cards, but if that works... great stuff! means I can get better clips for carpark catchphrase music

As long as the DAB radio has an output jack, it's only a case of connecting it to line in with a bit of cable and setting your PC's recording source to 'Line In' then away you go!

I have a Freeview card on my comp and the bit rate is much higher than DAB (I think, but it may not be much) and it captures the entire stream, meaning there is no loss is quality.

yeah I just got a WinFast XP card for £50 (had some money left over from Christmas) and that has built in FM radio, the quality is real good, sounds almost exactly the quality I want, gona get up and listen to CPC tomorrow and record it since im off college and work for 2 weeks
