The chrismoyles.net Text Request service will start running from Monday 2nd August.

To request a clip you will need to provide the following information:

• Your username
• Time (if you're texting your request when the clip is actually on air then adding NOW into your message will be sufficient.
• Short Description

Once your message is received by myself I will endeavour to post the clip for you as soon as possible.
When your request is posted you will be notified by text.
The cost of the message will be no more than a standard text message.

Thats a fairly brilliant idea actually... It'd give you an idea of the time of the clip, plus it would save us lot remembering exactly when something happened.

Yo'd have to have a strict template for requests

For Example:
- Short Description
- Time/Date of Clip
- Your Messageboard name

How would you get the text's and would it be possible to do other stuff with them... For example have them (or those that dun start with SR for example) appear on the forum / website somewhere so people can text the site? Just a random thought but if Chris were to mention the site again that could be an interesting link...

So now people are back to school/college the text service may be found more useful than since it's summer launch.

I hope that people continue to see this as a useful feature of the board and that it will carry on and become more widely used.

Yeah i got the requests seanbhoy, all requests are in the process of being fulfilled.
