Did anyone else find the line-up to be kinda hilarious?

The build up to it made it seem like it was going to be a star-packed event. Also, Q magazine had already said it was going to be in Birmingham several days ago.

Derrys line up: The Streets, Kelis, Avril lavigne, Ash, Keane & Franz Ferdinand. All (arguably) well known, A-List bands/people.

The Birmingham line up: Estelle, Natasha Bedingfield, Damien Rice, Lost Prophits, Joss Stone, GLC and Razorlight.

Estelle, Damien Rice, Razorlight & GLC have all only had 1 "big" song. Natasha 2, and Joss Stone 3. Lost Prophits are just cack.

I really can't wait to hear all this, as well as Fatboy Slims (playing on dance stage) "Slash dot dash" all over Radio 1 for the next month (!).

Yeah, I thought it was a big let down after them making such a big deal out of it. Not really a great line up from my point of view

Damien Rice, Razorlight and GLC have amazing albums, I have them all and have been listening to them non-stop (Even GLC's, gotta love the net). Natasha and Joss Stone also have amazing albums and Natasha's talent goes way further than 'These Words'. Listen to the album if you don't believe me. And Lostprophets are a really good band.

Basically, IMO, that is one amazing line-up.

I thought that when I heard it announced.

Razorlight and Lost Prophets alright, GLC for the comedy, Bedingfield, Estelle, Joss Stone and Damien Rice .. Hmm.. Great.

It'll attract all the 12 year olds then. Target Audience ..

And the fact that you've got an avatar of a childrens tv character shows us you like hanging around small impressionable children.

Chad wins.
