Did anyone else find the line-up to be kinda hilarious?
The build up to it made it seem like it was going to be a star-packed event. Also, Q magazine had already said it was going to be in Birmingham several days ago.
Derrys line up: The Streets, Kelis, Avril lavigne, Ash, Keane & Franz Ferdinand. All (arguably) well known, A-List bands/people.
The Birmingham line up: Estelle, Natasha Bedingfield, Damien Rice, Lost Prophits, Joss Stone, GLC and Razorlight.
Estelle, Damien Rice, Razorlight & GLC have all only had 1 "big" song. Natasha 2, and Joss Stone 3. Lost Prophits are just cack.
I really can't wait to hear all this, as well as Fatboy Slims (playing on dance stage) "Slash dot dash" all over Radio 1 for the next month (!).
