i wouldn't think so, it only seems to be Dickie and myself who regularly record the show, and it just so happened that both our recordings failed

I'm going to download the stream and edit clips if people can't do them from now on so if Dickie doesn't get it or Tipsy or even Jimmy can't get it, I should have it, hopefully!

lol - dickie's installed a super duper DAB loft aerial now - so there should be no problems with his screwing up - and i've tunred off the auto delete feature on the sky + - so all's good - nice to have backup though, obviously

Lol, I only started recording them last week when I got frustrated with BBC listen again and used the Net recorder or something for real player

I think the quality depends on ur connection tbh.

Still I dont mind recording moyles things by request off the web for people, I have a standard broadband connection and the quality of the bbc radio player isnt that bad for me.

I've a fast connection, and it's still not of the quality people get from their dab/sky/fm recordings.

As I say, it's great as a standby in the event no other recorders captured something unmissable, but I'd not want to use it on a regular basis.

That's why I avoid posting things for ages, unless it's something people really want like a parody or it is just someone wanting their name being read out etc. I try to record them in maximum quality then edit them before recompressing so not to lose any extra quality. If there are any important unfulfilled requests can people PM me as I can't really be bothered to read all these sound threads.

If you both know you won't be able to record the next day PM me and I can set up my timers to get a decent recording.

Well if you are looking for more recorders all my recordings are HQ as they are direct off my Sky+ and i have contributed before for example the moyles extra where he did some of Jo's show.
