Why would you want a flame coming out of your exhaust?

Because he has a small penis and has to impress the girls in a different way.

I have never been in the position where I've not had insurance, I was just pointing out though if he only intends to drive on private property then, I believe, he doesn't need insurance - same way it dun matter how old you are as it's on private land.

I don't think you get it. I have insurance, just want it cheaper.

Because he has a small penis and has to impress the girls in a different way.

Yeah right mate. Ever heard of proportions? I'm 6ft5 with hands like bunches of bananas and size 15 feet.

So, how old are ya then, just to give us an idea of who to suggest? Any NCB, how long you been driving? Any RTAs? Any points?

This has always confused me slightly, women are rarely impressed by spoilers, lights on bonnets, flame throwers from exhausts etc. but men seem to be delusioned into thinking they are impressed for some reason. Just impresses other men / criminals.

From what I have observed it does impress the girls, but only those type of girls who are as shallow as the guys who think a modified car is a measure of a guys worth.

TBH the people on this board are the last people I'd think would know what women want ;)

But that never stopped anyone having an opinion. Besides what are we supposed to know about on this forum? Cuz I dun think it's car insurance, car amps, snowflakes or any of the other random topics which arise in here...

And furthermore - women dun even know what they want so what man really stands a chance in knowing what they want?

(And I did say girls, not women, but nevermind)

Tell them you were on Car Park Catchphrase and they'll probably slash the price.

So, you're (I'm going to assume) 17ish, no history of any kind on the road, trying to insure a modified boy racer's car, 1.8 Injected Escort, and you seriously expect to find a TPFT quote under a grand?

Excuse me while I pick myself up.

Like someone else suggested Liverpool Victoria (Or Victoria Liverpool) are probably gonna be your best bet, though why you're looking for insurance since you'd had it insured fer a month already is a little odd.

And what's an RTC?

(Word of advice: Never take on a Rover with an Escort if it bends the way Mondeos do...)

RTC is the new term for RTA. "Road Traffic Accident" implies that nobody was at fault and some guy won a court case using this fact, so it is now a "Road traffic Collision". I'm 18 by the way.

everyone'll still call it a RTA, just like everyone still calls STD's, STD's

When i got my 1st years insurance on my own name it was about £1700 all in all but now after 1 years no claims i just renewed with a different company for £940. A drop of over £700!!! All i did was pick up the good old yellow pages, there are about 25 pages of car insurance companies but most are 0800 numbers so phoning around is the best way in my opinion.
