This would depend on many things... How old are you?

Alloys won't do anything to the insurance.

That's what I thought he was talking about, just getting clarification though. I was also of the opinion that they were not legal for road use and, I believe that same applies for under vehicle lighting, is only for show use...

Doubt that quote included the flamer, my insurance was £1500 just due to the fact that it was my first year on my own name + the car is a 1.8.

If you're a bloke under 25 then insuring a decent car with a bit of poke is gonna be expensive.

The flamer is legal as long as it's not used on a public road or near flammable matierials/ other vehicles. Neon under-car lighting as long as you can't see the bulbs and the light splays out no more than 2ft on each side of the car.

No, like I say you can use it on private land, in public car parks away from other cars and I think it can be used on a motorway

So I assume then you either live right next to a motorway junction, have an awful lot of private land nearby or dun actually plan to drive anywhere... Ya know if ya just gonna stay on private land you dun need to worry about insurance, or TAX, or...

However, keeping a car with no insurance is risky, be it on private land or not.

It doesnt flame all the time, just when u hit a button. Otherwise it works like a regular exhaust. Until you want a flame.
