Anyone get this problem, say if you put a mixed CD onto your PC and then burn it you get a slight pause (even if you take the default 2 second gap out). Have found some cool software to remedy this.

Just wondered if people find this as annoying as i did?

I find that using Windows media player creates this problem. (I know its the worst software in the world)

Why not just tell us where we can get the software, rather than just continuously ask?

It's not the software, when you create an MP3 from a CD the encoding automatically creates around 0.25 secs at the start and end of the track. What the software i've found does is you load your mp3 file that contains a whole concert for example and you go through and mark all of the track beginnings, then it creates a .cue file that tells your CD burning software where to put the track marks, but you don't get any gap.

i always thought it was pretty clever to be able to get those CDs with no gaps in between. my dad used to have a disco one where all the tracks mixed into each other - twas very cool but annoying when you wanted to play a song from beginning without the silly link between them

But why did you not just tell us in the first place rather than going on about if for ages?

If anyone has "backed-up" :p the 2 many dj's album u will find that the gaps between songs ruin the album.
