CMP News reader: Nothing to do with me! I cant even hear it while on air

My co presenter: He has this tendency of one minute being very close to the mic, the next being really really far away, so as you can imagine its a pain in the arse trying to make sure his levels are always right!

As for local radio... we have 2 stations in Shetland. BBC Radio Shetland which is basically news, however I now doing regular sports news on that and helping out with programmes etc. Our 24/7 local station is called SIBC and is such a wasted oppirtunity as its basically music all day long with news on the hour. no DJS, nothing. It has so much potential.

So for getting that style of show in Shetland, its almost impossible...

It's the 'alternative version' version I think, Tom probably just downloaded it from Kazaa.

David, your show was really good! Just wondering though, do you know if that news readers voice is synthed? it sounds very edited and computery.. It's hard to tell though, still - thought the show was amazing, really professional sounding.. Good stuff, I'll be listening next week.. Unfortunately I missed todays show as I was at a friends house..

Thanks. No that news reader was real! His name was Dean... he does actually present a very good music show.

Todays show ended up not going on air due to my computer not liking me and me being too tired to fix it!
