As well as Moyles on xmas day, theres a Chappers and Dave football review program special going out on Boxing Day at 10am. (Not 100% sure if thats 5 Live or Radio 1 mind). Christmas day is basically a load of specials including Coxy, Jo Whiley and Moyles.

On a related note, for a week following Christmas, (Boxing day onwards), the R1 schedule changes pretty drasticly. Emma B's doing Breakfast, Colin Murray fills in for Jo Whiley and I *think* it was Nemone doing 1-3/4 then Wes following on from her. Oh yeah, Vicky Marsdens doing the early breakfast then too, if anyone cares. Scott Mills is doing the New Years eve countdown from 8 too.

(not entirely sure why I posted that there, but it seemed the only place to post it that really made sense).

Fools and Horses won't be on next year, well so they say as this years is apparently the last.

Erm, haven't they said it's the last only fools and horses for about the past 4 years? It just makes you watch it, in and out of xmas sleep from too much food/beer and then you're amazed and astounded when they bring out another 'hilarious' episode the following year? Don't get me wrong, I love it, but as Scott Mills said today, they are getting desperate for plots - this years involves Rodney thinking he can hear aliens and is being abducted.... 8O

I know this thats why I said 'apparently' and 'well so they say'. It's been going for ages so you can't blame them for getting stuck with plot ideas.

Only fools and horses is the VERY last one this year they knew three years ago that they would do three more episodes, and thats only because people didn't like the ending in the last series(When they were rich) which was supposed to be the last one.

I liked the ending, it should have stopped there. Those three were still very funny, the subsequent ones were not so.

Oh, ok. Scott Mills said it was Rodney. Seems like this is becoming a different thread from Ask Aled. Aled, what do you think of Only Fools and Horses?

Aled - You probably have better things to worry about but I was just wondering whats happening with the boards involvement on the new Chris Moyles minisite? Does Chris Moyles know about us wanting to help out and does he actually get any say into what he wants his new minisite to look like?

I have been on holiday, I'll find out the level of response from Scott when we're both in the office and see what he says we could do if anything.

Chris doesn't know about us trying to get you involved, that's a detail I think he's only be interested in if ended up happening.

Chris has a huge say in what goes on the minisite if he wants it, but we have dedicated online people to get it right, they work closely with the whole team to get it together. We can always ask to get something changed if we need to.

He is staff, so I don't think it works like that; it's paid leave anyway.

Aled, what's you favourite Christmas song? (except walking in the air, obviously).

Well then they would be paying you twice. This isn't Virgin Radio, they have to save all their money to pay Sara Cox.

No, because you worked for 2 weeks you otherwise wouldn't have been. You don't get paid in advance for holidays...

Well you would be effectively be working freelance those two weeks then. This is a touch off topic.
